The most interesting posting may be the internship
AI hiring usually evokes AI researchers or machine-learning engineers. NAVER WEBTOON, however, is recruiting an AI service planning intern in Product Development.
That matters because AI is appearing not only in specialist engineering roles but also in an early-career service-planning role.
One posting looks ordinary. The combination is more revealing
At the same time, NAVER Cloud has an IaaS/AI Factory product-planning role, NAVER WEBTOON has a Search Intelligence Engineer opening, and NAVER LABS has a 3D Vision Research Engineer role.
These are different functions: infrastructure, product planning, search intelligence and spatial vision. The stronger signal is not simply more AI openings, but AI entering different parts of the operating stack in different ways.
BANSEOG VIEW | AI is becoming a work layer, not only a job family
In an earlier phase, it was easy to picture a conventional organization next to a dedicated AI team. As AI enters products and workflows, the structure shifts toward Infrastructure × AI, Product Planning × AI, Search × AI and Vision × AI.
For candidates, the useful question is no longer only whether to pursue an AI job. It is where AI changes the workflow of the job they already want, which decisions are automated, and which responsibilities remain human.
Capability combinations matter more than the title
AI Factory product planning, AI service planning, Search Intelligence and 3D Vision do not require the same capabilities. Preparing for ‘AI’ in the abstract is therefore less useful than decomposing a target job into the work AI changes and the capabilities that become newly valuable.
A stronger evidence story is: problem → previous method → AI-assisted method → human verification → changed result. That is more useful than simply saying a candidate has used ChatGPT.
This does not mean every job becomes an AI job
A small set of public postings cannot establish NAVER's entire AI strategy or prove that all jobs are becoming AI-centered.
The observable fact is narrower: AI appears in an entry-level Product Development role while related hiring is also visible in infrastructure, search and 3D vision. The claim that the ‘non-AI’ area of work is shrinking is a BANSEOG INFERENCE drawn from that combination of public signals.

Banseog View — AI is becoming a work layer, not only a job family
AI hiring is easy to misread if we count only specialist AI titles.
NAVER group postings show AI entering infrastructure, planning, search and 3D vision at the same time.
Candidates should prepare evidence of how AI changes their target workflow, not merely an AI-tool checklist.
