財務で採ったのに、なぜ1年間バイオプロセスを経験させるのか

Samsung Biologicsの2026年下半期新卒採用で、Financeは商経系専攻を対象とし、accounting・finance、resource allocation、performance、risk、長期Vision、investment plan、ESG、business operationを担当領域としていた。

その求人には、Finance入社者が入社後1年間バイオプロセスを経験し、businessと業そのものへの理解を高める予定だと明記されている。

応募受付は9月15日に終了している。ここでの問いは応募案内ではなく、なぜfunction roleに1年間のprocess experienceを設計したのかだ。

一度だけの文言ではない — 2026年上半期にも同じ構造がある

2026年上半期のFinance新卒求人にも、入社後1年間のバイオプロセス経験という同じ文言が確認できる。少なくとも2026年の二つの公開採用サイクルで繰り返された。

一回限りの説明より、反復するonboarding ruleの方が会社の人材設計を読みやすい。Finance expertiseだけでなく、businessそのものを理解する経験を継続的に重視している可能性がある。

ただし公開求人だけではrotation先、training schedule、評価方法、実際の成果までは分からない。

財務は数字を見る。しかし、その数字は製造現場で生まれる

製造業のcapacity、CAPEX、稼働、quality、schedule、validationは、最終的にcost、investment、riskの数字になる。数字はspreadsheetの中だけで生まれるわけではない。

今回のFinance roleは決算だけでなく、resource allocation、risk、長期Vision、investment planまで含む。こうした役割では「いくらか」だけでなく「なぜその数字になったか」を理解することがjudgmentの質に関わる。

バイオCDMOではprocess、equipment、quality、validationの条件がfinancial decisionとつながるため、business contextを持つfinanceの価値が大きくなり得る。

Process Engineerもprocess experienceを持つが、Financeと同じ勤務形態とは言えない

同じ2026年下半期求人でProcess EngineeringはCareer Development Planに基づき、入社後のバイオプロセス経験のため交替勤務予定と明記されている。

一方Financeは「1年間のバイオプロセス経験」とだけ書かれている。Financeも同じ交替勤務を行うと公開情報から断定することはできない。

確認できる共通点は、異なるfunctionでも入社初期にprocess understandingを重要な経験として置いていることだ。

公式CareersもBusiness Administrationを製造・品質から切り離していない

公式CareersはBusiness AdministrationをHR・Finance・Legalなどのfunctionとして説明しながら、優れたmanufacturing capabilityとquality assurance systemを基盤にcustomer valueを届けるための支援役と位置づけている。

2022年の公式採用FAQでも、Business Administration応募者にbiology経験や知識は必須ではないが、会社が属するindustryへの理解があると良いと説明していた。これは過去資料なので現在の選考詳細そのものではなく、company messageの補助 evidenceとして扱うべきだ。

入社前からbio expertであることを求めることと、入社後にbusiness realityを学ばせることは別のtalent strategyである。

Function-first OnboardingからBusiness-first Apprenticeshipへ

典型的なFinance onboardingならERP、closing、budget、internal ruleを先に思い浮かべる。しかし公開求人はそこに1年間のprocess experienceという別のlayerを置く。

数字を扱う人ほど、その数字を生み出すoperationを理解する必要があるという設計である。

応募者は会計知識だけでなく「数字が生まれるprocess」をつなげて考えられる

Finance応募者がaccounting、finance、Excelを準備するのは当然だ。しかし求人が1年間のprocess experienceを明記しているなら、なぜ会社がそれを置くのかを考える余地がある。

capacity、equipment investment、quality・validation、process bottleneckがcost、risk、investment decisionにどうつながるかを説明できれば、単なる「財務健全性に貢献したい」より求人のlogicに近づく。

これは合格formulaではない。公開求人から何を読み取り、何を確認するかというpreparationの差である。

企業にも残る問い — function専門家はbusinessをどこまで知るべきか

Financeに限らず、HR、procurement、IT、legalが自分のfunctionには強くてもcustomer・product・operationから遠くなると、function optimizationとbusiness optimizationがずれることがある。

すべての会社が1年間の現場経験を導入すべきという意味ではない。value-creation pointはfactory、logistics、customer support、product usageなどindustryによって異なる。

重要なのはfunction trainingとbusiness understandingを別々にせず、どこで接続するかをonboarding designの問題として扱うことだ。
